My Students

Our students come from a strong community that values education and collaboration to achieve our common goals of making sure that ALL students succeed. We believe in hard work, determination, but also making learning fun.

As members of a Title I school, it's not always easy for our students to find a love of reading, but the passionate dedication of our staff combined with the support of the community makes engaging our students possible.

As a school, we have worked diligently to provide a warm, welcoming culture that encourages students to do their best and fulfill their dreams. Through a combination of high standards and meeting students at their level, we work as a team to grow both academically and as people.

My Project

Many of my students cannot afford their own headphones, and if they can find that they are often misplaced. In order to address this concern and make sure that my students have what they need in order to interact with their technology, I request these headphones a numbered place to keep them within the class. Students will recognize that they have a shared responsibility to take care of their assigned headphones so that not only can they learn, but their classmates in other blocks can learn as well.

I hope to teach responsibility, accountability, and a community mindset while providing my students with much needed supplies to match the one-to-one technology provided by the school.
