Help me give my students the 2nd grade Math Bundle and Digital Phonics Toothy to work from home during this period of time when we are not allowed to be at school.
I have been blessed with the sweetest class of 2nd graders! They are so amazing and inquisitive. We are a mixture of all different races and are about 50/50 boys and girls. A large percentage of my students qualify for free/reduced-price lunch. They are so motivated to learn and I am dedicated to giving them the best of myself! It's easy to do when they come in with huge smiles on their faces ready for a big hug. I want them to feel successful while learning. 2nd grade is a big year where so much growth occurs. I want to provide them with learning experiences that will last a lifetime.
My Project
My students are not allowed to return to school for another month and I'm trying to teach them online and keep them engaged as best I can. With these activities I can offer them resources that are online and don't require extra materials to be printed or manipulatives, but will still be great material that they need to learn. Both of these packets provide TONS of activities that I can assign to help them keep learning. Even after school is back in session, these can be used for years to come as Google Classroom is amazing and will always be utilized in my classroom.
Google Classroom helps me reach more of my students during this time than any other platform.
Students can use all kinds of different devices to get to Google Classroom and I can link sites, activities, lessons, videos, etc. for them to learn from.
I would be super grateful if we were able to get these so that the kids could be doing learning in a way that they love, AND would be easy for me to keep up with. Thank you for your consideration in my project!
