Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Research shows that when students are engaged (even playing), they are learning!
These reading and math games will be used during small group instruction time.
Games are a great way for my students to learn and practice skills in a collaborative and engaging way while I meet with small groups of students to give them extra support in a skill they are struggling with (both in reading and math). Plus these games help them build classroom community, cooperation and other important social skills. Reading books is also a great option during these center learning times, so I have added some 5th grade books to my list.
The cleaning supplies and bookshelf will help my classroom stay clean and organized so students can focus on learning!
