My classroom is in a high-need community. The school is located in a large urban city in Wisconsin.
My students need to be exposed to information in a variety of methods so they can learn. Each child learns differently, being able to teach utilizing all the learning modalities (auditory, sight, and kinesthetic) is advantageous to the child. Learning about science or math through seeing the materials, handling manipulatives, or listening to cute songs will be very helpful to the educational process.
Allowing children to be exposed to materials using variety of means is very helpful. Having CDs will help the students who are auditory learners to learn, and for the other children, it will be an added bonus to be exposed to the material again. Learning needs to be fun, so by providing educational material differently, it is hoped the students will have a positive learning experience.
Through your generous donation, my classroom can have Cd's to help the students learn about phonics, English, science, and math. Learning can be fun and with fun catchy songs, it is almost a 100% guarantee the students will have fun learning!
