My students need engaging Social Studies learning activities about ancient civilizations and geography!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Rogers's classroom raised $747
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are eager to read together. They love being able to dive into the same book as their peers! Sometimes that isn't always possible because of different reading levels. My students enjoy listening to novels so everyone can experience the novel in the same way.
Despite the hardships, my students always come to school with a smile and their faces and questions to ask.
They are eager to be part of the learning. They are constantly asking questions, promoting much deeper thinking. School is often the only the safe and fun place for my students to be. When my students are here I know they are in a safe positive environment, where they will get at least two meals a day
My Project
My students learn best when they are emerged in the learning. These activity simulations will provide students with opportunities to dive into their learning in ways that are exciting!
Who wouldn't want to go back in time to ancient civilizations or used zombies to navigate a map?
Using these simulation activities will allow students to learn through doing, which is exactly what they enjoy! Ancient civilization activities take students to the times of the building of pyramids in Egypt, the development of the city of Greece, and different dynasty of China. What kid doesn't like zombies? This geography simulation will teach students how to navigate a map while escaping a zombie apocalypse! They will also be able to learn and grow as an individual and team by working together to problem solve. Learning life skills through activities!
