it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is located in the South tip of Texas where students thrive for success. My class is filled with wonderful, heart-warming, bright four-year-olds that are always so eager to learn. They are both from the U.S. and Mexico. Most of them are Spanish speakers and come from low socioeconomic households that are considered at risk. Despite their challenges, they always walk in excited and looking forward to their new class adventure. I'm very fortunate to be their Teacher!
My Project
Using this machine will help us cut time in cutting out manipulatives for the students.
This will accelerate the process so we can focus on learning with this fun material.
The scan and cut will help me create a variety of manipulatives such as counting tools letters and shapes to use in the classroom, helping me bring fun learning activties for the students in my pre-kinder class. This will also give us an opportunity to help the students create crafts that go attached to our lessons through the school year.
