This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are smart, creative, and hardworking individuals. Our students are very special to us and deserve the best. They are superstars and excel every day with smiles on their faces.

Art is a very important subject but is under-studied in most school districts.

We lack the materials needed to have successful and meaningful art classes properly supplied.

Our students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!

All of our students love learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!

They are truly an incredible group, and we are lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

My students are the type that benefit from multiple learning styles. If they can read it, watch it, draw it, write it, and create it, they learn the best.

Students having all their materials and supplies when school begins is essential to starting off the year right.

These supplies will help my students throughout the school year to remain engaged in lessons and stay organized.

It is important that students come to class prepared and are ready to get into the daily lessons and not have to worry about essential needs such as school supplies that they are lacking. Art supplies will help to keep our students engaged everyday such as: crayons, markers, and colored pencils, colored paper and glue and colored paints that will help bring their art skills to life.

My students are eager to return to school and will be delighted to find their own school supplies for them to use and a well-supplied classroom with organizational tools that work!
