My Students
My students are an incredible group of kids who deserve the tools necessary to help them build their fine motor skills..
They are eager to learn and deserve to be able to identify with the dolls in their classroom.
They come to school every day excited for a new adventure. Living in a high poverty area is not easy. School is a safe haven for many of these children. Being able to have some semblance of order in their life is so important. Knowing that they have their own tools to use and play with is very heartwarming to students.
My Project
Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!
The 3 and 4-year-old students in my classroom are beginning to explore the world around them.
The use of dolls in the classroom centers has been very helpful. Almost all of my students have younger siblings at home.
