My students need a sand center table, 6 pocket charts that tell them what center to go to and 12 pencil grips for emergent writers to use in the writing center.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students love to learn. They are always asking questions. "Teach me and I may forget, involve me and I will remember". My goal is to as we round out the school year get my students doing more hands on learning. What better way to do this than through investigation and learning centers.
My students are bright and eager to learn with an insatiable desire to learn and for knowledge.
My students are in a school that respects achievement, moral character and compass. My students are kind and compassionate citizens. They are young scholars ready to learn.
My Project
A sand/sensory table will allow my students to conduct hands on investigations, manipulate materials, explore texture --all crucial to development and a way to really involve students in learning. The pocket charts requested will allow students to easily figure out what center they need to go to and the pencil grips will help emergent writers compose pieces in the 'Writing Center'. All materials will help to create fun and engaging centers that will reinforce concepts taught in class in a meaningful way.
Any and all donations to this project will allow my students to discover, explore and investigate on their own and to learn while playing.
Students will have so much fun learning that they won't even realize that they are doing it.
