Math, science, reading, and social studies are all more engaging through art!
I teach a fabulous group of students with special academic needs who are in grades 3 through 5.
Because each of us learns so differently, we have to come up with a wide variety of strategies to make sure that everyone is learning. This year, I have found that all of my students are more engaged and motivated to learn when our academic content is tied to art.
My Project
This proposal contains an incredible collection of art supplies that we will be able to use in all content areas. We will create colorful graphs, draw story maps, and design experiments. We will color-code maps of the world, and use scissors and glue to sort word parts and character traits. The possibilities are endless!
