Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are caring, excited, and eager to learn. My Pre-K students love to learn through hands-on experience and play. They are in need of as much support as they can get as they prepare for Kindergarten.
My students come to class each day eager to learn and ready for new experiences that they may not get the opportunity to have outside of school.
They love to create art, build structures, and pretend play throughout the day. It is a joy to give them a variety of opportunities to learn something new. My students' time in the classroom creates a love of learning in each of them and a foundation for success as they continue in their education!
My Project
These classroom materials will create a fun environment for my creative and eager Pre-K students. We have centers throughout the classroom as these young students learn through play.
This project will provide our VPK class with materials in math, science, art, and literacy throughout the classroom.
Stamps, paint, and collage materials will provide materials for class projects and student driven creations. Foam blocks and cars will give students materials to build their own cities in block area. The project includes several science materials and kits both to supply our science area and to use in interactive and engaging lessons during small group time. There will also be kitchen materials for our students to act out cooking in our house area. Lastly, our classroom will be supplied with a calendar for circle time to help familiarize students with the days of the week and date.
This project will supply almost every area of the VPK classroom, providing students with endless possibilities to learn!
