This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I always tell people that my students are the best. They are always full of questions and want to learn more. They love coming into my resource classroom and learning in a small group. They feel more comfortable in a smaller setting and are always participating. They are very eager to improve in all academic areas.

My students ages range from Transitional Kindergarten to fifth grade.

They are all different in their abilities and what they struggle with. I incorporate different learning modalities depending on what I am teaching and what each individual student needs. They are an incredible group and I am lucky to be their teacher.

These word-building phonics tiles will enhance my lessons on teaching letter-sound correspondences and spelling. My students are struggling to learn how to read and using different materials will help the students who need hands-on and visual materials.
