Learning the Alphabet With Magnetic Letters at Home!

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year I have many students who need to be exposed to letter and letter sound knowledge and need hands-on toys to increase alphabet knowledge. Through the use of magnetic letters, students will be able to play and do lots of activities at home to increase their alphabet awareness. I will provide parents with letter magnet activities that they can do with their children at home to not only help with letter identification but also give the parent and child time to play together in a meaningful way. The students will use the steel cookie pan as a magnetic board to help them with spelling out words and playing games on the sheet pans. Letter magnets for these children would mean the world to them!
