This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These resources will get a lot of use this year. Kindergarten in the first year students are introduced to letters and numbers. This is an important year because students are building strong foundational skills to become skilled and proficient readers and mathematicians. I plan to use the following to help reinforce letter shapes and sounds with groups, as well as independent practice. The letter and number mats will provide fun and engaging educational play. The letter and number anchor charts will assist with daily practice, while giving students the reinforcement they need to really master each one.
