I am a teacher in a special education classroom in a Title 1 school. The students at our school come from mostly low-income households that do not have much to spare for the classroom environment.
My students are all special individuals that deserve every opportunity as any other student in the school.
Each student has many needs that differ from student to student. I want to provide as much for them as I can, but I am limited in what I am able to do for the class.
My Project
In this project I am asking for a laminator for my classroom. The laminator is used to make more durable learning materials for my students. On a daily basis materials in my classroom are getting torn apart or getting drooled on. This means that I am constantly having to remake the learning materials for my students.
In order for my instruction to be meaningful, I need learning materials that will last!
This laminator will do just that. It will coat my papers and other materials in a plastic cover that will not tear or get soggy. This will be saving time and resources in my classroom.
