Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is a Title I school. My students come from working families. Learning toys are not a priority. With the CNC Router Machine, I will make learning puzzles, and concentration tiles to learn the alphabet and sounds. The great thing is that these learning toys can be taken home, since they are made of inexpensive wood. This is a fun way to literacy. I would also be able to prepare gifts that the children can decorate and give to parents. The students will not only learn their letters, but also in a fun way.
