Learning Supplies for 3rd Graders in Hawaii!

My Project

The materials from this project will help in building reading, math, and language skills in our 3rd grade classroom. We currently have limited materials to use with our diverse learners. The past few years of the COVID pandemic have led to varying levels of reading and math proficiencies with many of them one or two grade levels below grade level. My students are struggling with math concepts and verbal language skills. The high interest math games, reading activities and board games will motivate students to practice and develop their language skills.

By donating to this project, you will help provide much-needed intervention materials that will be used during our daily lessons, RTI block, and during SEL time.

The games such as Scattergories, Scrabble, Trouble, and Jenga will be used to boost language and social skills in a fun and engaging way. My students are really struggling with early social skills such as waiting, turn-taking, sharing, and how to cope with losing. These games will also help build social-emotional skills that are more important than ever due to the COVID pandemic.
