Learning Stations That Give You Something to Talk About
My students need an iPad with a protective case that will enable them to download apps. These apps will be used to create and maintain their online student portfolios and perform learning station tasks such as coding.

My Students
My students stand out from the rest because of their unique abilities and personalities. We're a family. Day in and out I love, teach, pray, welcome, visit, follow, encourage, and get to know them. Amazingly, they do the same in return for me and their classmates. It's a bond their parents really can't explain, one that makes their parents wonder what is causing their children to beg to come to school and plead not to leave early. A bond that leads their parents to want to become involved in our classroom and become a part of our "household" as we call it. We are a Title I school, with economically disadvantaged students who are learning the importance daily of grit, grind, and perseverance.
My Project
This iPad with protective case will give my students the ability to engage in a wide variety of activities while in learning stations. The devices we currently have are not able to support many of the programs that my students are eager to participate in. Updated technology in the classroom allows students to access educational materials easier, improves their motivation and participation, and encourages personal learning plans. Technology is everywhere and definitely affects how my students learn. It only makes sense that our schools should embrace technology in order to prepare students to be college and career ready. These materials will enhance the learning experience and create new opportunities for my students.
