Our students LOVE station time. Station time is an active time where students are at stations or centers to independently reinforce skills and concepts taught previously.
We have 28 students in our reading class.
Stations consist of TWO students who are both working together on an activity that reinforces that skills taught previously. I have exhausted my colleagues for games, ideas, and materials. I do not have the materials to provide 14 stations around my small room. These activities are COMPLETE and will make a huge difference in planning and executing station time.
My Project
These learning station activities are simple, student friendly, and complete with ALL the needed materials. It doesn't get any better than that! The phonemic awareness trays, syllable count center, the sequencing cards, and the word family and rhyming stations will help my first graders learn to read. When the students are actively involved they LEARN and remember!
Our students need the independent time to work on key standards.
Please help provide those activities! Station time is the BEST part of the day for most of our learners. Please help our students have meaningful, relevant station time!
Thank You!
