My Project
One of our biggest needs is a classroom printer and laminating machine. These are essential tools for creating custom assignments, differentiated materials, and homework packets—especially when central printing and supply processing delays make it difficult to get what we need in time.
I am a second grade teacher at a Title I school, where most of my students face daily challenges outside the classroom.
Despite this, they show up each day excited to learn and grow. I want to give them the tools they need to thrive academically and feel proud of their learning space. With these tools in the classroom, I can respond quickly to student needs, support struggling learners, and make reusable, hands-on resources that last. These critical tools will allow me to personalize instruction and create resources that last all year.
To support reading growth, I’m also asking for decodable books and Elkonin box whiteboards. These materials are key to building strong phonics and literacy skills in early readers, especially for those who need extra support. Our classroom also needs essential supplies that we consistently run low on such as headphones, hand soap, crayons, markers, colored pencils, erasers, and more. These may seem small, but they make a big difference in keeping our classroom running smoothly and helping students focus on learning.
