This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are 1st grade and I have 60 students dividing them in 2 classes. In our first grade class where students will have for the first time in school to learn Spanish as a second language and appropriate the language, it is very important to have organized and attractive spaces where children feel ready to learn, that is why That a mat with designated spaces for each student is of utmost importance while we are having instructional time and learning some important content, as well as white boards so that they can write and practice the words and numbers that they are learning in Spanish. The decoration such as the strip of felt happy faces is to be placed in the area where the children will have their work materials so that it is easy for them to identify this area. The shelves to organize papers will be where the children will have the copies necessary to do their morning work and will be at the entrance to the class. I will use the remote control to be able to change the slides on the screen with greater ease and comfort while we teach the lessons without having to have the computer nearby.
