This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 2nd graders feel so proud of themselves when they learn how to spell new words and how to solve "big kid" math problems like adding and subtracting with regrouping. But it is not easy to engage them in this learning. They often feel overwhelmed because 2nd graders have so much new learning in the areas of phonics and math. Every year, I try my best to encourage them and to make this new learning fun and exciting.

Using these fun LCD writing boards will help to engage and excite my students.

These LCD boards will help to get them excited about spelling and math practice. I'm looking forward to making spelling and math our favorite parts of the day and hearing cheers of joy when we bust out our LCD boards!
