My Students

I teach 24 first graders. In my classroom, I like to provide my students with a variety of learning experiences to provide them with opportunities to ensure academic success. Our district has the slogan "college and career ready." That is exactly what I am preparing my students to be. Academic success looks different for every student. I work with each student during whole group and small group instruction to help them develop the necessary skills in order to achieve the goals that will lead them to academic success.

My students are looking forward to using more hands-on learning throughout the school year.

All of my students practice skills and show what they learned during our whole group instruction. Each day my students enjoy being able to demonstrate their knowledge in a variety of engaging ways.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a exciting use in my classroom. We just need your help in order to make this excitement possible! The stools will be used during our small groups in order to provide the seating they don't have to move from their desks each day. As well as the jumbo connect four will be used in a variety of ways. It will be used during educational review games, as a class reward, and a variety of other ways.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of various subjects in authentic, meaningful, and engaging ways.

By implementing these items into my classroom, it will provide my students with engagement and excitement. In my opinion, this should be found in every student's learning experience. Learning should be fun! We will use these materials to aide us in the process of becoming life-long learners. Your support will help make this a reality. Thanks!
