Learning Science While Improving SEL.

Help me give my students the hands on opportunities they need to help learn science. The activity kits will accomplish two goals, to help students gain a better understanding and to create bonds while working in groups.

My Students

My school is located in Southern Utah just miles away from the Arizona border. I have a lot of students this year that have come in with a lot of learning gaps. This year has by far been the most challenging for me to meet my student's needs.

I teach 4th grade at G.W.

Academy in St. George, UT. I have a class of 26 students, at least half consistently score below grade level in our diagnostic testing.

My Project

COVID-19 has left some holes in my students education, not only academically, but socially as well.

The items that I am asking for will help my students learn the information while working together in groups.

I have asked for games and projects to use in class as well as a few that can go home with students.

The most expensive item will give me science packets to send home with my students to help fill in some of the concepts they are struggling with most. I will also use them in the classroom as well.
