My students are clever, creative, and hardworking. They enjoying project and discovery. In the math classroom, some struggle to see connections and how it applies to the real world. I love their desire to persevere to show me they can work to achieve. It’s not always about the math, but making a connection to others and feeling comfortable in the classroom environment. Creating an environment where students can think on their own and develop their own ideas and test them is the top priority in the classroom.
My Project
In our classroom, students thrive on having resources available right at their fingertips. When an idea comes to mind students should be able to act and react to those creative thoughts. Having a printer and Cricut machine in our classroom will allow for instant accessibility for students ideas to come to life. Many students will ask for resources to test their thinking and a printer will allow for instant access to work in the classroom. Allowing the students to display those creative thoughts will be magical with a Cricut machine to create wonderful projects in the classroom to show to the world.
