My Project

Typically all of our lessons start as a group where I try to activate backgrounds knowledge to make the lesson relative and interesting to the child. We often discuss possible new vocabulary and what skills we will be targeting. The resources I have chosen will serve as visuals for students to reference when they shift to independent work. For example, for math we often have different options and strategies to get the same answer. I love using these post-it notes. They are the perfect size and I can move them around the room as needed. In literacy, sentence starters or vocabulary visuals are also helpful to students. I love to have visuals for students to reference independently to support their learning. This helps them problem solve and have simple reminders of what skills we reviewed as a group!
