My Students
My students are eager to learn more about and to experience music more and more each day. With your help, we can expand our creative arts department! I am slowly building up the program through Donors Choose and through grant writing. Each time a new instrument or curriculum arrives in my room, my students are filled with excitement and curiosity. Thank you for considering this project and, with your help, you can expand our creative minds and performances.

My Project
Hello and thank you for considering our digital piano project. I started a semester-long piano class last year in our school. I had eight students in that class, and it was enjoyable. The students really loved the class and learned the basics of how to play piano. This year I have 15 students currently in my piano class. I have ALMOST enough keyboards for every student to be on their own instrument. I still have one student who has to play on our outdated, out of tune upright piano. I have two students who share a large keyboard. With your help, my students would be able to perform on a keyboard that would not be out of tune and would give them the experience of playing on a full keyboard. At the end of the semester, my students perform a piano class concert as their final exam, and their parents get to hear all of the pieces we worked on this semester. It would be wonderful to be able to have each student in my class on a keyboard. I am hoping to be able to open up the class for 20 students next year. With your help, this could be possible.
