Learning Outdoors

Help me give my students benches, whiteboards, clipboards, and a canopy for a new outdoor learning space.

My Students

Our students are respectful, responsible, on-task winners!

I am so excited to start the year in new and exciting ways that are safe for students and teachers.

All students are different and the teachers and I work hard to meet the needs of every learner in our building. In the last few months of school, we are striving to support independent learners and thinkers.

We are a Title I school and have a high population of students who receive free or reduced-price lunch.

My Project

Students from all backgrounds will be provided an opportunity to learn and grow in this outdoor learning space. Weatherproof benches that convert to a tabletop for writing will provide a great option for teachers to take their students outside and social distance in an outdoor space. I would love to expand this space through the years for teachers and students to use it. The E-Z Up canopy would provide shade in an open grassy area. Students would use the clipboards and spread out for learning. The dry erase boards would be easily cleaned and stored for the class to use with literature, mathematics, or playing a class game.
