Help me give my students headphone, alphabet manipulatives, phonics cards, dry erase boards, numberlines, batteries, and fairy lights to enhance their learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with a large culturally and linguistically diverse group of amazing learners, which includes TK-2nd grade levels. Our classroom environment is warm, welcoming, and student-friendly. My students are an amazing group of individuals with various abilities. Our classroom is full of students who are ready to learn and put forth great effort.
The alphabet items will support hands-on, kinesthetic learning of letters, sounds, and early literacy skills.
It will help my students recognize and arrange letters, aiding in word formation and spelling. The phonics cards will help me teach the relationship between letters and sounds (phonics) in a visual and interactive way. The dry erase boards will provide a reusable, versatile surface for writing, drawing, and problem-solving. It reduces paper waste and provides immediate feedback during lessons. The numberlines will aid in understanding numerical relationships, addition, subtraction, and other math concepts. The batteries will power classroom tools and devices that support learning activities including timers and adaptive tools. It will ensure seamless operation of learning aids without interruptions. The fairy lights will create a warm, inviting, and stimulating classroom environment. The headphones will help my students who are easily distracted stay engaged with their work. It will create a sense of calm and security by minimizing overwhelming auditory stimuli.
