My Students
My classroom is filled with fun and excitement for learning. I tell stories, read them stories, and share life experiences with my students.
Our school is new, and while we have the basic educational materials, we lack the materials needed to bring learning to life.
My students enjoy using technology at home, and they would love to develop these skills in the classroom by testing their knowledge and looking up information we learn in the classroom.
My Project
My students would love learning with an iPad. This would give them that advantage needed to use reading skills and test on Accelerated Reader books successfully in my classroom under my supervision. This coming school year we will be testing our students reading skills on the computer. Using a touch screen will give them the familiarity they are used to at home.
My students will be able to test on AR in the classroom and write and publish stories.
The iPad used in the classroom will provide them with research activities I assign such as PowerPoint, take photos of things around the school or classroom for math, science, and reading. The iPad would make learning fun, and let's face it, technology is the way of the world nowadays.
