Help me give my students a chance to read different nonfiction texts in small groups!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Sierra's classroom raised $374

My Project
My students are embarking on their nonfiction unit, and with that comes reading many different texts. I can easily pull articles for them to get exposure, but it is crucial that they see and become familiar with nonfiction in a book format.
Creating small groups for students allows them to collaborate with peers, as well as cultivate their interest in different topics.
With these books, my students will get the chance to select their reading material/literature circle groups based on their current interests, as well as their current reading levels.
Not to brag, but my students are amazing, and they deserve every opportunity to succeed. Providing them with nonfiction books is just one opportunity to help them grow their learning, as well as develop better communication skills. I strongly believe that my students deserve this opportunity and will flourish from the variety of nonfiction texts.
