My Students

My classroom is a wonderful place filled with hardworking students and staff. Every day, I fall just a little bit more in love with their amazing hearts and smiles. Each child has an individual education plan to help them make progress on goals in the areas of functional academics, life skills, communication, and life skills.

My students are full of curiosity, energy, and incredible potential.

We focus on the positive and celebrate every success that they achieve. Each day I do my best to make sure that they have the necessary tools to succeed, but it takes a lot of equipment and materials to help meet their unique needs.

With the help of DonorsChoose.org, I am able to provide unique and engaging materials to help my students, who experience a variety of disabilities, overcome their challenges and let their abilities shine through.

My Project

My students are an uplifting group of middle schoolers who amaze me every day with their hard work, empathy and perseverance. I love seeing the impact I have when I help them work through a challenge because it is so inspiring.

With the purchase of lessons that focus on social and communication skills, my students will be better able to navigate the the world around them.

I love using the resources on Teachers Pay Teachers because it allows me to fill in the gaps in curriculum and target specific skills that my students need to work on such has having conversations and advocating for themselves.
