I need to learn in order to help my students grow. Attending this professional development opportunity will help create a ripple effect for the scholars I serve.
My students are shining stars and desire to learn. Our class' affirmation is "Good, better, best. Don't let it rest until your good gets better, and your better becomes best." Each day they work hard to sharpen their skills so that they can learn and grow. The students enjoy working hard and even daily sing about how they want to put a smile on Mom's face with their hard work and progress. They believe in the importance of education and I believe in them!
My Project
Attending this conference will be beneficial to more than my students. As I learn about how mindsets foster positive outcomes in learning, I will be more prepared to help my scholars. Many of my students battle with "stinking thinking" that can hinder their growth and desire to succeed in an educational setting. I know that providing them with the right tools and activities can help counteract some of the challenges that they may face. I believe the skills I receive in this training will help me to turnkey information to other educators and help more than just one class of students, but affect an entire family school.
