My Students
Active, rambunctious, and eager to learn! My students like to move and they are needing some seating to help them wiggle, fidget, move, and groove. Currently, we have basic school seating, and it's not fun when you want to move.
My Project
Allowing students to move and wiggle or fidget throughout the day helps some kiddos focus. Students who need to move to focus become less of a distraction if the movements they are doing are quiet. Having flexible seating does just that. It's a quiet way for kiddos to calm their anxieties without disrupting others.
Flexible seating can be an easy way for students to relax and be comfortable in the classroom.
From sitting on the floor to wiggling in their chair, to using bouncy bands, my students do better when they are comfortable. My students are allowed to move around the room and get comfy, and those hard plastic student chairs are not comfortable.
