The universe is a conglomeration of unique planets and stars arranged into galaxies and solar systems that are awe-inspiring! My 19 students are the same: constantly moving, shifting, and growing into beings that come together to form something beautiful.
The kindergarten students in my school district come from a wonderful variety of cultures and backgrounds.
Throughout the year we learn about each other's family traditions, special holidays and celebrate them. Despite their wonderful differences, the students need to know they belong and are loved in our classroom. We are a team working together toward the same goals.
I look forward to creating an atmosphere that fosters acceptance and collaboration for these wonderful kindergarten minds.
My Project
As an educator, I am someone who is always looking for new ways to improve in my field. I would like a MacBook Air to help me take professional development courses online. There are many online resources available to teachers to enhance their development. Educators now have the ability to learn new ways to improve their skills with online courses in all subject areas without having to take the time off from the classroom.
The education field is continuously growing and I want to be able to keep up with the changes and help my students grow.
I am a teacher who has to have a second job and I am not able to travel as much as the average person. Having a MacBook will be an asset to me and my students. I will be able to transfer the knowledge that I learn onto my students and into the classroom.
