Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with a wonderful class of 3-5 year olds. They are curious land active learners!

We need math materials that will not only help develop their math skills but their fine motor and spatial awareness skills at the same time.

We need materials the can be rotated because preschoolers can get bored.

The puzzles, and shape box can help with their spatial reasoning skills, and matching skills. The apple game can develop their pincer grasp needed for writing along with their matching skills. The frog scale helps work on measurement and their pincer grasp skills needed for writing as they pick up the objects and place them on the scale. The ice cream game works on fine motor manipulation and counting skills as they place the corresponding number of ice cream on each cone. The children will develop spatial awareness while building with the different shaped Magna tiles and Building Blocks.
