This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is made up of 18 students that come from a Title One school.

50% of my class are ESOL students. They are full of energy and love to learn new things. My students would love to have a listening center to listen to math and science read along books that will introduce them to math and science concepts.

My Project

The Math stories read along books will introduce my students to basic counting and measurement concepts with delightful storybooks my students will love to read and listen to again & again in the quiet and cozy comfy corner listening science and math center nook. The science story read along books, monarch butterfly and frogs read along books allow my students to watch a colorful garden grow, match baby animals to their mothers, learn all about dinosaurs, butterflies, frogs and more as they read and follow along with these delightful stories.

This project will change my students' lives by introducing them to math and science concepts through read along books in a quiet and cozy math and science listening center nook.

Students will learn about horses, butterflies, elephants, frogs, counting, measurement and more.
