My Students

My PreK scholars are amazing! The are the only full day class in our school. They are eager to learn and love being in school. Our school is very diverse and takes pride in welcoming and engaging all scholars and families. We are committed to creating a school where kids feel safe, loved, and motivated.

As a school, we take pride in creating an environment where we celebrate diversity, discuss and study racial equity, and "inspire all scholars to reach high levels of social and academic achievement through a collaborative system of support" (Our School's Mission Statement).

My Project

My scholars will be able to have a variety of fun, new, and engaging materials to share and practice their mathematical skills. For example, they will learn to count and create patterns using ice cream scoops. My scholars will enjoy exploring shapes and become little engineers by building with new, exciting materials.

My PreK scholars will learn to share, have fun, and be creative using these new mathematic materials.

As a teacher, I enjoy joining in the fun, building, and connecting with my scholars during Active Learning time. I know I am excited for new games and building sets, I can only imagine the looks on their faces when I can give them more NEW choices!
