Learning Math Adds Up to Success with HP Calculators

My students need 32 HP calculators to improve their math skills and increase their confidence in their mathematical abilities.

My Students

Have you ever been involved in an intriguing math problem only to be slowed down by one small calculation error? Having a calculator to use to check the work is just the thing to enable you to successfully continue on with the problem. Calculators are an important part of the math classroom.

Story problems are a challenge for many people, my students included.

My students are hardworking and curious about how math works. They are creative thinkers, but sometimes they make calculation errors that prevent them from coming up with the answers they are looking for as they grapple with story problems and the exploration of numbers and number systems.

My Project

The HP calculators will help my students to think about math and explore patterns found in numbers. This tool with help them work together to understand and solve word problems. Also, as they advance in education, understanding the use and functions of calculators will be a skill they need to have. These HP calculators are a great place to start.

My students try very hard to do their calculations carefully, but sometimes mistakes happen.

They need a simple way of checking the math so they can move on with the richness of the problem at hand. Your donation will help my kids improve their math skills and increase their confidence in their mathematical abilities.
