My Students
Do you remember your early childhood years? This is an age of exploration and excitement! My Pre-K students would love to have more hands on manipulatives and computer software in their classroom to make learning more fun!
My Pre-K class is comprised of 36 students.
It is split into a morning class and an afternoon class. Our school is a Title 1 school, and most of my students live in a low income area and the majority of them live in non-English speaking households. They are all very eager to learn and at this age love school! Some of them are quick to learn new material, but some seem to be struggling in mastering basic skills.
My Project
I am requesting some preschool computer software, some math and language arts manipulatives, and some jump ropes. I already have two computers in my room, so having some computer software to help my pre-K students learn their letters, sounds, and so much more would be a great asset to our classroom. Also, having the language art and math manipulatives would also help my little ones in their learning.
My students will be better prepared to go into kindergarten if they know their sounds and letters.
Having the computer software will assist them in learning. Also, the hands-on manipulatives will assist my students in writing and math.
