I love how curious, energetic, and creative my students are! They come to class each day excited to learn and eager for hands-on, engaging activities that make learning fun. My students thrive when lessons are turned into games and challenges, and they especially enjoy activities that allow them to work together, move around, and use their imaginations.
The resources in this project will help bring Language Arts to life in exciting, interactive ways.
The Pirate Treasure and Pirate Island reading games will strengthen comprehension and context clue skills through adventurous play. The Slam Ships! Sight Words Game adds excitement to sight word recognition, making foundational reading skills feel like a game instead of a chore. Scrabble and the Roll & Write Word Game will help students expand vocabulary, improve spelling, and develop strategic thinking in a collaborative and fun way.
Each item in this project is designed to support literacy development through active learning, teamwork, and play—helping all my learners, especially those who benefit from alternative approaches, feel successful and engaged.
