My Project
In my special education (SPED) classroom, the specific items requested will make a significant impact on student learning by addressing their unique needs and creating an inclusive, engaging, and supportive environment. The requested items will greatly enhance learning in my SPED classroom by supporting life skills, hygiene, and organization. The air fryer, pans, parchment paper, and oven mitts will allow students to learn practical cooking skills, encouraging independence and confidence. Paper plates and bowls will make it possible for them to enjoy the meals they prepare, reinforcing the full cooking process from start to finish. Cleaning supplies like Lysol wipes, wet wipes, and Kleenex will teach important hygiene habits and promote a clean, safe environment. Classroom supplies and organizers will help maintain an efficient and structured classroom, while decorations will create a welcoming and engaging space that supports focus and a positive mindset. Altogether, these resources will create meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that support both academic and functional goals.
My primary goals are to foster independence, build confidence, and promote academic and social growth.
By providing students with the right tools, I aim to enhance their ability to engage with the material, develop critical thinking skills, and achieve measurable progress in reading, math, and social-emotional learning. I also hope to create an inclusive space where each student feels valued and supported in their learning journey.
What makes my students special is their resilience, determination, and unique ways of understanding the world. Each student has their own strengths and challenges, and they inspire me daily with their perseverance and creativity. They thrive in environments where they feel safe, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential. By securing the right resources, I can help them succeed academically and personally, ensuring they have the skills they need for lifelong success.
