Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project uses items like letter blocks, tactile letter charts, and sensory activities to help students learn and recognize letters in a fun and engaging way. These hands-on tools make learning more interactive and accessible, especially for students who learn best through touch and movement. By exploring letters through activities like sorting, tracing, and building, students can better understand letter shapes and sounds in a way that matches their learning style.
Our main goal for this project is to help students develop strong foundational skills in reading and writing.
We want to make learning letters enjoyable and meaningful, encouraging students to become confident readers and writers. Through these interactive activities, we hope to foster a love of learning and support their progress in literacy at their own pace.
What makes our students special is their unique approach to learning and their individual strengths. Each student has their own way of understanding and engaging with new information. Our hands-on activities are designed to cater to their needs, helping them explore letters in ways that feel natural and fun. We believe that by providing these inclusive, tactile experiences, we can help every student succeed and build a strong foundation for their future learning.
