This year, I am working with class full of kindergarteners! In my class, I have 16 of the most loving, caring, and brightest scholars!
My students and I have created a safe, engaging, homelike environment for us to learn and grow together.
We will use this time together not only for them to grow as students, soaking in information, reaching their goals and moving on to the next grade, but also for me to grow as a teacher.
That's where DonorsChoose comes in. Not everyone can buy school supplies.
My Project
Students will use the Play-Doh as a different way to practice their letters and numbers. They will roll the Play-Doh out to actually create the numbers and letters. They will also use the Play-Doh to represent different numbers by making that number of shapes. The children will also use the Play-Doh during free time or brain breaks.
Since my students are in kindergarten they are just getting used to writing.
They still need a lot of work on their letter formation. Having the project sleeves and page protectors will help keep their flash cards protected and will help us save paper. They will be able to write on both to practice their uppercase and lowercase letters.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
