This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During Covid 19, many of our kindergartners missed out on preschool. Many of my students have had no experience with letters or numbers. The more practice and experience they can get the more they will be ready to learn to read. Our classroom can also use some more math things to play with as well as seeing numbers around our room.

The funding of this project will give an opportunity for students to be in a literature rich environment filled with opportunities to count.

I know given the opportunity, they will all become readers and counters!
