Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is one of the largest public schools in New York City located in Elmhurst, Queens. It was the epicenter of the Coronavirus which impacted many students and families. Most of our students come from low income families, another country, and majority of the students are English Language learners.

The time that I have with my Kindergarten students online is very precious because it is where most of their learning takes place.

I hope to help my Kindergarten students build the love of learning at home and become great readers, writers and scholars!

My Project

With your generous support and donation, our fully remote students will learn with joy and excitement right from their computers and i-Pads! They will listen to interactive read alouds, learn new poems, sing nursery rhymes, and practice their letters and sounds as it is displayed on their screen with the use of the new document camera!

The new digital resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, will help students practice newly learned concepts and lessons from each academic subject!

They will continue to learn from teacher created Google slides to support their learning in literacy, reading, writing and math!
