This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach students in grades K-3. Each one of them is smart, energetic, and has a bright future to look forward to. This group of kids has big dreams and the drive to make them come true! Each one of them comes to school each day with excitement and a desire to gain knowledge despite their poverty and socioeconomic issues.
The students at my school are racially diverse, many come from low socio-economic backgrounds and also face the added challenge of being English language learners.
They are an awesome group of kids who deserve to learn in a comfortable, resource-filled environment!
Listening to music is one of the most effective ways to change the atmosphere in a room. Whether kids need calming, energizing, or focus, music can help with it all. My students are hard workers and love to listen to music while they work but they also love to listen to music to let loose during recess and fun times! Having a wireless speaker would allow all students in the class to enjoy music while they learn and work!
