This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are a unique, diverse group of hard-working individuals who face daily life challenges we would probably never experience. Some challenges include poverty, lack of parental involvement, language barriers and social and mental disabilities. I teach all the retained students with these challenges that did not pass reading.
My goal for them is to love learning and be forever learners.
I have the best class ever! My students make strides and leaps each day. My classroom is their haven. My goal for them is to love learning and be forever learners.
My Project
Attending the, “Get Your Teach On” conference would be an experience I’ll never forget! This conference is a four-day event that would empower and motivate me to prepare and create dynamic rigorous lessons that will engage my students.
It will allow me to challenge and motivate my students all while building a love for education and learning.
It would give me the opportunity to meet and network with fellow educators and gain knowledge from their practices. It would allow me to grow as a teacher and provide my students with wonderful learning experiences. It would be an overall AMAZING experience!
