Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items I have chosen for this project are specifically designed to promote growth in the English/Language Arts area. Students will utilize these educational games both in our regular reading class and in our English as a Second Language class. I will guide students in learning how to play each game and then, students will be able to interact with each game independently.

These games will provide an incredible learning opportunity for my students in the areas of learning new vocabulary words, creating sentences and stories, as well as learning how to cooperate and communicate with each other in a social setting!

Although games don't sound like a basic classroom need, they truly are. They provide an occasion for learning that is less structured and personalized to their needs, and the games bring differentiation to instruction helping students to learn in nontraditional ways.
