My Project
COVID-19 has impacted the social and emotional learning of my students due to the isolation some of them feel. I wanted to find resources that will help them in collaborative activities they can do with their classmates. I also found books to share with them about their emotions. Hands-on learning is more engaging and fun when done through art and creative expression. My students are special because they are learning so many new things at school. Learning how to share and be a good friend to their peers as well as the importance of learning. I am so excited for my students to use the collage pots to plant seeds and grow magnificent plants! The tote bags will be great gifts for parents and something special to remember their kindergarten year. The books will give me the opportunity to talk about kindness and friendship.
